TURNmusic continues to offer a fresh concert experience that will bring our community together to celebrate. Founder, Anne Decker, mixes her musical tastes to create a unique set of performances. TURNmusic performs music that is defined by quality – not by genre, presents professional music concerts in a relaxed venue, and maintains affordable ticket prices.
Our May shows feature Nicole Lizee (Montreal), Mary Kouyoumdjian (NYC), Erberk Eryilmaz(PA), and Randy Woolf (NYC). Music by Lizee, Kouyoumdjian, and Woolf all incorporate turntables (live or pre-recorded). Performing with TURNmusic is Nicole Lizee’s long time collaborator and turntablist, P-Love (NYC). Also featured is TURNmusic’s first Collegiate Composition Prize Winner, Erberk Eryilmaz. Dances of the Yogurt Maker will transport you with traditional dance music from Turkey.
TURNmusic is presented by Signal Kitchen at ArtsRiot in Burlington. The concerts are duplicated in Decker’s hometown of Waterbury at the Green Mountain Club.
