The Janet DiBlasi Arts-In-Curriculum Award

This grant is open to teachers who are interested in incorporating art into their curriculums as a means to enrich their classrooms through a direct hands-on arts experience at Thatcher Brook Primary or Crossett Brook Middle Schools. This scholarship is open to all teachers in any school discipline (either alone or with other teachers as a team) at these two schools. These scholarship monies could cover part or all of the cost of a proposed project that might not otherwise be able to occur without this grant. We believe that the arts can play a critical role to deeper learning in all sectors of education, and the merits of this proposed selection must demonstrate a strong connection of art to the classroom curriculum experience. All art forms will be considered. The 2021 grant will be awarded September 15, 2021 and will apply to a project for the 2021-2022 school year.

The 2021 Janet DiBlasi Award submission deadline is June 15, 2021, at midnight. All interested parties should contact us by email for guidelines and information: info.acrossroads@gmail.com.
