John Snell presents his photography and creative process as Guest Speaker at the June 10, 2015 Across Roads Membership Meeting. Join us in welcoming the beauty of summer through his photographs of the natural world.
Wednesday, June 10 – 6:30pm at The White Meeting House (Waterbury Congregational Church) Waterbury , VT
John Snell has been photographing—primarily nature—for fifty years. Much of his work involves seeing the abstractions that exist at nearly every turn. He has had many exhibits of his work, including at the Governor’s Gallery and the Central Vermont Medical Center Gallery. While he enjoys travel and has travelled extensively, much of his best work is done right in Central Vermont, including, literally, in his own backyard. John will share some of his photographs and his vision, which he terms “still learning to see,” which many people—photographers, poets, painters or others—have found to be an intriguing and practical way to increase appreciation of the world around us.
