Eleva Chamber Players Celebrates Global Folk

Vermont composers and rare performance of African Suite are featured. The Eleva Chamber Players, Central Vermont’s only professional string chamber orchestra presents Old World-inspired folk music by Vermont composers, plus a rare performance of African Suite, by Nigerian composer, Fela Sowande. Program includes Paul Perley,’s Bass Dance, Hungarian Suite, by Dennis Bathory Kitsz, and Michael Close’s Scottish Folk Songs.
